Hi, I’m Sam. Founder of Dockside Digital Solutions.
I started behind the bar.
Reading the room. Setting the tone. Making people feel like they belonged — whether they were celebrating, grieving, or just trying to catch their breath.
Then I became a bar owner.
I trained my team to do the same — to serve more than drinks. To serve connection. We weren’t just slingin’ cocktails. We were building a community.
I hired mentors. I invested in video marketing before most mom-and-pops ever considered it. I brought in a media crew (shoutout to Dan) that helped us tell our story in a way that made people feel something real. We were in the news, on the radio, active in our community — and our vibe was immaculate.
But then...
Life happened.
Weather. Recession. Social unrest. And finally, the death blow: COVID.
I tried to pivot. Again and again.
Tried every gimmick, chased every trend, burned myself out trying to stay afloat.
And eventually, I lost the business I built with my whole heart.
But I wasn’t done.
I started over — this time, on the water.
Boat rentals. Lake days. Adventure hospitality.
And that’s when I realized — the secret sauce never changed.
The vibe was the product. The experience was the brand.
And video? That was the key to showing people who we really were.
So I stopped chasing trends and started showcasing what we did best.
I took the same systems I used to scale my restaurant and rebuilt a new business.
Now I use those systems to help you scale smart — not scattered.
